Camus has lost me. He writes about the author as dealing with the absurd in what he writes, but seems to negate himself after every sentence. I truly do not understand what Camus means: he wonders if an author could write a truly absurd work and seems to answer it, but I do not understand him. He uses Dostoevsky as example next, so I hope that elucidates things.
