Status Updates From Meet Me at the Boardwalk

The writing was weird. This didn’t work for me at all, the characters, the town, the plight of the boardwalk. I couldn’t care less about it. It was so messy, and wrong. Idc for the rich, sleezy characters. Not my kind of author. This had nothing going for it.

8-19. pg131. Didn’t realize this was the same author as Pool Boys. Idl multiple POV changes. It’s confusing. This seems very similar to another book I’ve read, with the friend dynamic, probably her other book. This is so sleezy and trashy. Drinking, hooking up with the same people. Ugh Idw anyone to end up together. No one is a good choice. Cannot wait to be done with this.

Okay. So not as bad as I had predicted. I thought the secret would be something more, how do you say it, devilish.

I am guessing that the secret shared between jade and miles is that they slept together.
