Then we savour every sad song
Because they seem to speak for us
A thousand words unused to scream

Love, somethings never bloomed like flowers
For people, come natural, cursed such as me

Pages fill pregnant poems
Bearing pain of words unsaid

Maybe I used to know, maybe that was it
The treasure I seeked, but now forgotten
I was a ghost, what could a ghost remember?

Will you proffer me a chance? 
To know in full once more 
Those eyes and the stories they hid

Midnight remained with cold empty thoughts
And then receded away leaving me bare
Underneath the cruel revealing sun 
Alone with no dreams to spare

True poetry comes from a heart in vain

Sad sunken violins sing in tune 
To the taunt of tantalizing love 
Loosing life but smiling feigning silence
