I'm so confused.
I knew it was a spin off but since it's book one in this series I thought I wouldn't need to read the other series. I was wrong. I didn't realize there is so much info the author just expects you to already know. I had to Google the characters just to try and follow along. Even still I'm struggling.
This might as well just have been part of the other series and not a spin off.
