Status Updates From The Great Mom Swap

Suddenly remembered this book from when I was a kid and am rereading it now and what on earth. Helene Wheeler frequently tells her 13 year old daughter she needs to lose weight? Scotti literally believes her mom hates her and subliminally messaged her into suggesting the Great Mom Swap? This is so sad??

It was a great book but it has little forgotten things.

Remembered reading this as a child, but not a lot of details from the actual story. So far I will say I am quite disappointed with the writing. Both mothers and daughters are horrible to the other and the stereotyping of some specific people and things is just not okay. So far I am disappointed in this writing and not having much enjoyment from it.
