In these few pages you see that Indigo's parents are getting a divorce.Because her dad is cheating on her mom which is causing discomfort in the house.Also her boyfriend Marcus was at her house to watch the game with her Nana Summer.Because she never comes around often only for holidays.

In these few pages you get see inside of Kent's life.His family doesn't have much money because his father left them .Occasionally their lights,water,and gas get cut off.Him and his little brother didn't have any food so Marcus offered food at his house.Having Kent's little brother state that he hasn't had any food in a week.

Marcus is tutoring the star basketball player for the school.When he shows up 20 minuets late Marcus is mad.He doesn't even bring his book but he expects Marcus to be okay with it.But Marcus stands up to him and show him he's not one to be played with.

Jade showed up late to her class on the first day causing her to get lectured by the teacher.She flipped him off hen he turned around causing the class to laugh but he didn't think it was funny.Once school was over Indigo's father dropped Jade off at home.When indigo asks to spend the night that Friday her father is hesitant.Because its no longer Jade's mother and father but just her father.

Indigo is Jade's best friend she is on the dance which she worked hard for.When one of the girls on there told her that they saw she was gaining weight.She started to throw up her food after she ate her food.She also has a smart boyfriend who helps her with her homework.She gets mad at him because he answers her phone but then she forgives him.

Jade parent's have split up and her,her mom,and her sister moved to New Jersey.She didn't like it so she started to act up for her mom in order to get her parents back together.Her mom called her dad so she could live with her dad because of her behavior.

As of right now im getting to know the three main characters and im seeing how they act and who they are as people.

so far its going good i love reading these books!

I read the first one a long time ago. I don't know if I remember everything.

My Opinion so far on the book is good. Jade is trying to get indigo to go and talk to her boyfriend about what he did but she told jade that she doesn't want to see him at the time. The book takes place in the present time. It affects indigo and jade because indigo is mad at her boyfriend and jade is telling indigo to go and talk to him.
