Status Updates From Cash (Glendale Magic, #2)

I really enjoyed the first book of this series, but the lack of basic proofreading is an insult to readers. There is inconsistency in formatting, with some dream sequencing in italics and some not. Some text bubbles and some not. Using incorrect pronouns to make it sound like the female main character kissed her own hand. It’s just SO bad. I’ve never read this many errors in one book in my life.

Why are the texting segments so weird? The person we’re currently in the POV of should be blue to the right. The person they’re texting should be grey to the left. The names of the tester inside the text box makes it read like it’s part of the text.

I’m finding it hard to believe that players would be able to volunteer at an all day, week long kids training camp during playoffs…

I’m finding the book needs a little editing. There’s similar phrases in the same paragraph (same words used).

On page 43, Connor changes gender:

“The look on his face stirred some jealous feelings in Evie. He simply adored Sasha, and it was written all over her face.”
