opening of the book was so good. made you want to dive into it but it’s boring so far. no plot or anything

The writer is so exquisite, but the subject matter is making me want to scratch at my cuticles repeatedly. I fear this book will be my new version of The List. This book is making me want to decenter men further.

It’s giving The List. I’m on a mission to finish it though ! I’m getting the feeling that this book will prompt me to take a social media hiatus.
