While I don't have the deep affection for Arliss Cutter that I do for Cork O'Connor or Armand Gamache, Cameron's books really deliver in terms of wilderness action-adventure and also in the volume of new things I learn. So far I've spent a lot of time learning about Alaskan geography, looking at photos and videos of small villages, and I've learnt that "fish table arcades" exist. Bored humans do weird things.
