A winged creature enthusiast/scientist, who’s hot, leaves her expensive microscope in the field and goes back to get it in the evening…in a dress…and heels. Great. She doesn’t swear so she says things like “fiddlesticks” and other cheeky shit. 🤦🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️ I need a Tylenol

Decided to give this book a second chance. So I’ll start with the positives. The trials are well written. Had the author written adventure books instead of self inserted romance novels, I could’ve given it 5 stars.

Mendax and Callie are nothing burgers and Aurelius, Allistar, and that wolf guy are the most interesting, but they’re basically nonexistent. :/

Hoping this book starts picking up a little now that I'm about half way through.
