Status Updates From Bear Attacks of the Century...

I’d compare the book to watching a realistic medical drama (like Chicago Med) only the victims are not the result of traffic accidents or lone wolf shooters or house fires but of bear attacks. The accounts are just as descriptive about the injuries inflicted. In one incident, the woman required 2000 “layered stitches” and the man 4000. So far, but for one chapter, those attacked have all survived.

A book I’ve been meaning to read so I might as well end the reading year with it. Not all the stories are about fatalities. I live in grizzly country so there are lessons to be learned. The writing is crisp and clear. So far the attacks recounted have occurred in Alaska.
