V pedestrian low point in otherwise interesting novella...is this really what straight people are like? They can't think "their hands are sexy" without simultaneously going "thank god this person I'm attracted to fits gender stereotypes"?

Didn't realise this was a novella when I started it but we're in too deep now.

It has the makings of a classic Hoyt and I'm enjoying up till now. Though I will say the plot is so loose or might not even exist.
