Things finally came together for Slade. She was going to work with this man on getting her record label started, and she finally got right with the boy. Her father approved of Avery the boy she had been head over hills for this whole time.

Slade got into a fight with one of the girls from the group she was in. They kicked her out of the group because two of the girls set her up and made her flirt with her friend Taylor's ex. She didn't know the boy she had a thing for all this time was her ex. So Taylor got mad at her and the other girls in the group laughed because they finally got what they had wanted.

Slade ran into the boy she had met weeks back. The other girls in the group made her flirt with the next boy she saw to prove she wanted to be in the group. She did it but only to find out that it was her good friend Taylor's ex boyfriend. Well that was a problem.

Slade and her new "group" had an audition with the man who had came to their school looking for talent. They had worked together all week non-stop. They were hoping this went well because all of their voices sounded great together.

Slade has got a new group of friends from her glee class. The girls only wanted her to be in a group with them because they want to get signed by this producer who came in. He told the three that they needed to be in a even numbered group for him to even look their way.

Slade cannot stop thinking about the strange boy from after the pageant. She keeps thinking of him and hoping he is okay. Her family is really putting her down for running off stage after she did not win. They are making a very big deal out of it for no reason whatsoever.

Slade barley met this strange boy after the pageant. After they talked she found him getting beat up by these big men. She had got herself into a bad situation just as her sisters had once done in the previous books.

Slade did not win the pageant, but she did win first runner up. She was pretty upset and felt like she let her father down. She felt like it would be wonderful if her father became mayor and she won the pageant and was crowned Miss Charlotte.

Slade is in a pageant. She will sing and wow the judges. She is really jealous of one of the other girls because she sings so well.

Slade introduces herself and explains how she is the middle child with no one to talk to. She says all of the other sisters pair up together and she is just alone most of the time. She tells how she likes to sing and that's all she wants to do someday
