Romance still not a fan of and a couple more reasons cropped up since my latest update. Will give more detail thoughts in my review.

I’m liking the story especially the mystery and the suspense. As for the romance, that’s a little bit iffy. Lucas and Sophie just aren’t quite doing it for me. It’s less a journey for them and more about lust. Every time they see each other they just think about tearing each other’s clothes off, and it was getting too much. Need more substance. For all the lusting going on, the love scene was rather tame.

There’s a lot going on. There’s more focus on Lucas and Sophie’s attraction than I thought. It’s more about the physical than the emotionally because they keep talking about their attraction. I just wish there was more going for them that. The lust seems to be the center point. I think that was due how quick they kissed. Again there needed to be more build up. I want more mystery too.

I was hoping there would have been more build up before the kissing and touching started. It was just a bit too quick for my liking. I would like to have seen them more playing around their attraction before giving into it. I wanted more banter. More sexual tension. More denial. To me, it just felt a little abrupt.

Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. The man that murdered his wife and killed himself, leaving their two year old son behind was Sophie’s grandfather. Did I read that right or did I totally misunderstand what the guy said. If it is true, then that’s one hell of a twist. A twist I didn’t see coming. Like Whoa.

Oh, this just got even better. Lucas is a cameraman and Sophie needs one to do her show. He refused, but he’s so going to do it. So, they are going to be working together and figure out the mystery. Actually there might two mysteries not sure yet. Lucas is very attracted to Sophie, which he is currently fighting. It’s gonna make things all the more interesting.

Small Town. A Haunted Lighthouse. A Mystery. A possible enemies to lovers romance between Lucas and Sophie, who are complete opposite of her being a city girl and him being small town boy. The antagonism has been set up with the little encounter of the tree blocking entrance to the town that she set to do a travel program of the haunted lighthouse. Sounds like it’s be a good time with quite a ride. Into it so far.

I'm only 70 pages in and the 2 main characters already have a "connection". Can this be because of the famous lighthouse? Or is it something more? o.o

OMG this book just creeped me out! Love it!

This book is a little confusing but I am gonna stick with it, it sounds so good :)
