Status Updates From Stranger, Tread Light

This is definitely not as good as Smiling Medusa. I don't feel like this is much of a gothic either. But it's not *bad*. Love the descriptions and food. Main male is still creepy and I can't believe our heroine likes him so much, she's crying. He's a tool and is also super intimidated by the women of a matriarchal culture and irked they aren't impressed by his mere existence. Lol get bent. You can do better ma'am

She compared her tired feet to blistered tortillas, then proceeded to jump into a car with a strange man her friend's husband picked up at a bar for her to take a little ride way away from the ball they were at. When he pulled over into a deserted area, she didn't even bat an eyelid. Huh
