I read the only story that is included in Joachim Neugroshel’s collection. There a few major differences and a number of minor ones, but The Will to Happiness is a very good story in both translations. I think I like Constantine’s version best because it reads better and easier. That’s just a judgement call, at best.

I read the only story in this collection that is included in Joachim Neugroschel translation, which appeared 1998. There are a few major difference and many minor ones, but the story is essentially the same. I must say, however, I like the Constantine version better because it flows better. A wonderful story and a fine translation.
