Finished "Jerusalem's Lot"! In 1971, it is assumed that Charles went insane from a recurrence of brain fever and murdered Calvin, then forged Calvin's entries himself. It is revealed Charles was not the last of his line, as Robert had had another relation. His descendant, James Robert Boone, has now moved into Chapelwaite. And now, James is claiming to hear rats in the walls. Uh oh! Overall, great story!

Charles and Calvin go back to the Jerusalem's Lot church, and Charles briefly gets possessed by the book, then burns it. But the burning summons The Worm, the Satanic God, who kills Calvin before disappearing. An insane Charles meets the undead James Boon, then runs back home. To end the family curse and defeat the Worm, he decides to drown himself in the sea. It appears his story is over. Goodbye, Charles.
