minor complaint. the regency age of majority was 21 not 30. and so these characters are well into their right to financial autonomy. not sure why you’d bother changing it and not changing anyone’s temperaments to make them seem more like 30 year olds????

I’ve actually started to do housework rather than read this book which is a very bad sign.

Hm. I can't say Wyn has fully redeemed himself since he was awful in the beginning, but I'm definitely enjoying the story more now that he and Roger are actually being nice to each other. Not that Roger was ever *not* nice, but his level of selflessness and self-sacrifice - and the way he took all of Wyn's horrible behavior without standing up for himself, got old fast. I much prefer their current dynamic :)

I haven't read regency romance for decades, and can't quite remember how this one landed on my Kindle, but it's fun...ish? Except for Wyn. He's already been in bed with two other men, and at almost at 20% in, is still COMPLETELY unlikable. Sigh. I don't mind prickly characters who have something redeemable about them, so I'm holding out hope that that's going to be the case for him... at some point SOON, hopefully.
