Oh, she couldn't solve the crime because there was a hot man in the vicinity. I get it! How stupid of me to assume that she was in any way a professional and had more than two brain cells to rub together. It is best when creating a supposedly smart female detective that is virulently anti-men, to give her a male assistant who does all her work and solves all her problems while she blunders around doing nothing more than complaining about how men never give her a fair shot. 'Cause that'll be interesting, right? Right??
