So far this isn’t bad. I’m not really into the fantasy aspect but I like Elise and David’ dynamic.

Truth be told I don’t know why I picked this up. I got a free month of kindle unlimited and this was there and I gave the first book a not-so-bad rating. Unfortunately, I don’t remember anything from the first book so I hope there aren’t many references 😩
