This book is VERY slow in progression. There are 5 sections to the story, I’m in section 2. I’m trying to push through but the book is repetitive and over explained in the different aspects of magic and their classifications. We were given the main juicy plot at the beginning which explains the plot’s purpose but that’s it so far. There has been little to no progress to the climax. And it’s 530 pages…

i can’t believe i’m actually allowed to read series i know ill love and have been procrastinating for years. i surely won’t forget this lesson
