There’s no shame in the way she decided to cope even during the sex scenes though it disturbed me and I skipped all sex scenes. There’s no shame

I mean she’s already being trafficked and abused every day and you, as an author, genuinely thought it was a lovely idea to add molested by her foster dad to the mix!!

And ability to put her and the child first. I enjoyed them getting their little hea with baby names after the bodyguard who died protecting her and prego belly. All around this was a well-paced story that kept me interested. I attempted book 1 but now I’ll try it again since I now have backstory on the friend

The spice was good even with the use of pain and bondage cause it made sense with her trauma and then her finally being able to find pleasure without pain was a breakthrough for her. The third act breakup with the staged betrayal and him locking her away was frustrating but necessary for him to truly trust her. And the fact that she didn’t run right back to him even though she wanted to showed her bravery

These characters really took me on a rollercoaster ride with all the emotions they dealt with while processing their trauma, FMC wanting to end her life and mmc not wanting to let her in emotionally but desperately wanting to save her. I loved that took her for what she was and refused to allow anyone to disrespect her.

This was really well written. It was devastating reading about FMC’s coercion, kidnap and abuse but really had me invested in her rescue. I enjoyed mmc how he avenged her many times over. I felt for both of their origin stories her mom having killed her siblings and attempting to kill her, him being shunned by mom and dad because he became deaf after getting sick as a child.

Sergi set Talia up and made it look like she teamed with Arman and betrayed Alexei. Due to his past and trust issues he was quick to banish her to the third floor where he left her for two months. He leaves county and comes back to discover she was blown up, only then does he realise she was framed& didn’t betray him

I’m enjoying this book I don’t think it’s as good as the first 2 and I feel like they don’t have much connection. They got married and he saved her from Arman so I understand why she cares for him but it’s a lot of smut and I think it happened to quickly with what she went through.

I do like how protective he is of her but he needs to start opening up to her and not treating her like a business plan

She’s falling for him, he makes her feel safe and he knows her so well and never judges her when she asks for pain along with the pleasure. They are so good for each other. I just hope he realises soon it’s okay to love her

After she tried to fall from the celling beam and he caught her, he was so angry at her for always trying to end herself that he tied her to the bed 😍

She’s starting to trust him, it’s been about a month. She’s tried to harm herself a few times and he stitched her up. When he was taking her stitches out she kissed him. It seems out of character for her, very fast but she deserves to feel comfort and safety.

So Alexei tampered with a shipment and framed Arman (the piece of shit who ‘owns’ Talia) and as a result he took Talia from him for “collateral” however he’s no plans of giving her back.

Talia tried to jump from the car and Alexei grabbed her and pulled her back in shouting at her. Then he spanked her- as if she hadn’t been beat up enough 😡 he felt guilty afterwards but still stupid of him

The anger, rage and sadness I’m feeling right now knowing that right now women and children perhaps even men are going through what Talia is going through- being sold, beaten, used and drugged 😡😡😡

Alexei saw her, I don’t know why he didn’t save her yet. He gave her painkillers and made sure she swallowed them after he found her hidden stash she was planning on taken her own life 💔

7th book of the month……. it’s giving last semester of law school!

It’s dangerous to be alone with this man who right now feels like a source of comfort. Like he could be the remedy for the chaos inside of my head. My calm in the storm.
