So I'm guessing it's not good for an autobiography if I'm more interested in the author's thoughts on classical paintings than anything she has said about her own life?

Just getting starting and this is pure misery. Chaotic and frustrating. At what point does narration become yammering? If this were a handwritten letter from a relative, I'd be very worried right now.

Her paintings are so intricate. I hope to see one in person someday.

Figured out at the end of chapter 4 that the author is a painter. I was thinking this book’s artwork probably made the book take 25973 years to finish.
Getting lost in the woods with a baby while recounting your life and traumas. Sounds like my worst nightmare, yet this is beautiful.
