I'm upset because the hero's father was a previous hero in another book and he was murdered 10 years prior,and his wife left their family after his death and went back to live in Russia alone leaving her young children with their older brother( present hero).This is not how I want my H/h to live their HEA.So basically the hero's Mom checked out on the family when her husband was murdered and left her young children.

reading this and so disappointed...I read the hero's parents story and had no idea that the hero's father was murdered 10 years prior to the opening of this book and their children,hero included , have no relationship what's so ever with their mother.The mother left her children and went back to Russia to live after their father,her husband was murdered.Not how I pictured their HEA.
