Status Updates From Discours de la Méthode suiv...

I am rolling my eyes at myself too. As pretentious as I sound, I’m reading this book because I found the book in a box in San Francisco a few doors down from my old house. It has some annotations in it too.

I love how earnestly pretentious Descartes is. It’s so funny. He compares his work to the truthfulness of geometry, says only the metaphysically inclined will read this and calls atheists unintelligent.

“For to be possessed of a vigorous mind is not enough; the prime requisite is rightly to apply it. ”

It is taking me some time to get through it, every page is worth analyzing:)
