This is my 6th book by this author and I’ve come to the conclusion that I really like her writing! Jensen’s plots are constructed around intrinsic political/royal intrigue. And it’s this well crafted plot that drives the storyline and characters forward, instead of an author forcing situations that aren’t organic to the plot or the dumb character making stupid decisions to create conflict and suspense.
