I love the comparisons that are made to movies that make things the big concepts click

Some chapters take a lot of work to read, but they are worth it. A lot of stuff packed into them; a lot about past philosophers and leaders and their philosophies that have shaped some of the woke views of today.

This book is meaty. After I few pages I have to sit with what I read. Learning a lot. Well written but heavy material.

From bad to worse. For as well read as he claims, Cooper is rather naïve and limited in scope. Not sure about intentionality.

Already full of strawmen and misunderstandings. Some homophobia mixed in there. Bible way or the highway mentality.

This book is packed with so much--so much truth, so much research, so much insight, so much past and present philosophy. I'm only in the midst of chapter 2, and am choosing to read it slowly, digest it, and even read each chapter twice before moving on to the next.
