I had put this down for so long that I had to restart it when I picked it up again. Really enjoying it at the moment. I was thinking Jess would be good for Peabody but he might not be legit, so we'll see.

Foreshadowing or delving into the criminal's mind has got to be one of my major pet peeves. I hate being the one who knows things and not able to do anything with that information.
And excuse me, Mr. Criminal, what do you mean by Eve and Roarke being a set that can be destroyed on a whim? They are OTP and the thing with OTP is that it's indestructible.

It was really easy to guess who the killer was (I could have called it within a couple of pages of meeting them!) but I still devoured this book. I love Eve & Roarke and Peabody is awesome too, her little snarky comments were a real highlight
