The main character, Hunter, is such a Mary Sue. Whatever the male version of that. He has a photographic memory, perfect recall, apparently a top notch shooter (i hated the part where he purposely toned down his good shooting so he wouldn't hurt the feelings of his female shooting partner, which then makes him look like even more of a talented shooter.) He is always right with his guesses, etc. Im kind of sick of it.

Did they just handle the camcorder between several men before letting forensics get finger prints or trace evidence off of it? Are they wearing gloves? They're going to smudge fingerprints if there are any.
Also I cringe and recoil anytime this author describes any woman.

This author is definitely a womanizer / misogynist. He describes a woman as "clearly carrying a little more weight than she would like to"
So he thinks every woman that is overweight would really not like to be? The man who was described as large and overweight on the previous page was not described as not wanting to carry this much weight. BC of course the overweight woman should want to lose weight but not the man
