I see there's a time skip here, but not enough for us to go from the protagonist's mind slowly changing on the obvious would-be love interest being a brooding, off-putting then eventually intriguing fae-prince like character in book 1 to... people asking if she wants to marry him?! And for her to go from *dramatic* I never plan to marry to... hrm, should I marry? Him? Wait, what?! Did I skip a book?
