Status Updates From Roman Stories

I don’t get it

Just finished the last story in Part I. Predictably lovely, and surprising. There is a voyeuristic feeling evoked in reading these stories. The writing so artfully draws in the reader building empathy and curiosity in equal measure. “Well-Lit House” is perfect and so much like life where it doesn’t end with threads all tied in a bow around a resolved storyline.
