I hate DNFing a book club book, but I can't...
I don't know if it's the writing style or the fact that I am 45 but reading about teenage girls being horny for their camp tennis coach is really uninteresting to me. And that half the book in the dual timeline story.
We'll see if the other book club members had a better time.

very much giving the same vibes as The Best of Friends (which i loved) so i think this is could be a contender for one of my fav lucinda berry books (early days so far)… clearly i have some trauma i need to unbury given i feel such a strong gravitational pull towards this book and The Best of Friends LOL 🤡
