Very into it. Also still undecided on what I think happened, which is not the norm for me and suspense/thriller/mystery.

This is my first Lucinda Berry book after one of my fave booktokers made multiple posts about her. CW: it opens with mentions of sexual assault and the crime the story centers on is related to that assault.

It’s a (self-referential) spin on I know what you did last summer meets PLL meets “don’t trust gifted kids.” I like it so far. Jumps time b/w “now” and 28 years ago.

Let me guess, Blakely tries to get with Mr.Crosby, he turns her down, she reports him for assault, he's arrested, and the wife kills him before realizing he was innocent. That's my guess on this plot. But holy crap is it taking forever to get to

this book is a snooze fest

Oh my gosh I’m seriously about to put this down or do a skim. What in the actual not solicited details am I getting. These details of past are irrelevant and how I know this is because the author already gave her history of the characters prior to this chapter. “How many ways can one bring up the past” should be the title of this book. Wtf

I’m really bored with this one

I'm literally on chapter 11, and I'm dying 😩 this book is so boring. Reads like a new writer and I'm finding it hard to follow all the characters. Not everyone needs a chapter 🙄

This is a PAGE TURNER! Only reason I’m not blowing through it, is the fact that I am exhausted 😂😴

Interesting so far. Definitely more of a warm weather read but it’s a good story.

This is not how I saw this book going to be honest. Props to Lucinda Berry for making me think otherwise. So close to finishing and my mind is racing thinking of how this is going to end.

I love her writing! Not even halfway through the book and I’m already at the edge of my seat. Wanted to know what happened.

The character Grace went to UPenn, and Penn Engineering nonetheless! Not that it’s uncommon for people to mention it but now that I work here it’s crazy.
