It’s great to see Bolan and Toby finally interact. This books still keeping the Bond themes but now it feels like a throwback to the Mafia Wars.

Great chase scene followed by a shootout.

Another good chapter that takes us deep into the mind of The Executioner.

Always love when we got Bolan looking back at the mafia war.

Solid War Room chapter that adds a bit of tension to the plot.

Yeah. The ghost writer of this one was a huge Bond fan. Bolan is still Bolan but he has a new edge to him in this one.

Boring chapter. Just Bolan looking at a building and thinking about Ancient Rome.

Still liking the longer chapters. This was the first major action sequence and it was very classy. Still had the brutal Bolan feel but had a much more professional feel when it came to describing his actions.

Bolan stealth kills are the best stealth kills.

Seeing Bolan scope a hard site out is always fun. I also love when the books says stuff like “Time to go hard” lol.

Loving the longer chapters and overall Bond vibe this one is giving.

I like how Bolan is not some indestructible super soldier and can be injured.

Not only is this very Bondish but very Jack Carrish. It’s no secret now that he or his ghostwriter took inspiration from these books.

So far so good. Very Bondish which I like.

Bolan is acting a lot like Bond in this one.
