I'm starting to wonder why Deuce sat with Yuu/Yu that first/second day of school. I know that he's familiar with Prefect because of the previous day, but in the manga Deuce mentions that during his delinquent years one of his targets were those who couldn't use magic, so now I'm wondering if at the beginning of this story he was purely trying to atone for his misdoings by befriending the Prefect.

Even though it was published after the manga, this book seems to take more after the mobile game.

There's one character who talks like a 2000s teenager and it's throwing me off in a book supposedly set in the 2020s.

I really like this book, a BUNCH but idk the writing style is a little funky to me. also Yuya GET UPPPPPP STOP DOWNPLAYING YOURSELF
