Status Updates From The Echo Maker

This book is making me realize that ADD (that is how old I be, no H) is phuched. Why can I not just understand Everything. Why do I have to only get little rays of the spectrum?

I still like this book. Probably enough to read it again when I am older.

There is a lot within a single sentence thus far. Not every sentence, but some.

The dude on Book Riot podcast mentioned The Echo Maker and I marked it, then a couple days later in Poor Richard's I saw it. So I guess I have to read it now.

That's why I like used bookstores, if the book is there when I am there then it's meant to be.

This Richard Powers novel is as good as any of the many of his that 've read over the pas 30 years, but even more poignant.
It is about brain damage.
And the brain's incredible power to heal due to its tremenous plasticity.
It gives me hope.
Even though the planet is, without a doubt, on the brink of a sixth extenction.
Paradoxical, eh?
