An incredible book, but one can only spend so much time in a misogynist’s mind. The last 20% of this book is a sad slog. Still, curious how it will all end and love a delusional narrator.

It feels so authentic and so dreamy at the same time. As if the story takes place in a parallel reality. Pulsating with vitality and full of full formed heroes. Noir by Hitchcock at time, but can get farcical too. Absolutely masterful.
