This book is really good and takes everyone’s perspective into consideration even the stay at home parent.

Love this book

I'm just starting to think about parenting styles, and though I'm only a third done with this slim book, it is really resonating with my values and ideas about parenting. I just finished the section on princess culture, and I thought it was sane, not too legalistic, and very practical in its suggestions for engaging with princess culture critically alongside your child.

In the middle of the what not to do with daughters section. It's a good review for me but might be over the heads of people new to gender issues.
