Ross and his companions are helping Enys escape prison. I am so so happy because Enys deserves to live and be with his love: Caroline. Of course, all of the men imprisoned should live, too because they have been captured by the French.

I am 12 chapters away from finishing the book.

Made it to book 3! A lot went down at end of book 2.

Caroline Dwight’s fiancee received a letter from him about what had happened and where he is now. She is excited to get him home, but Ross is (I would say) nervous and doubtful about him coming home well etc. Yes, the war is still happening with the French. But it won’t last forever.

George just had the ball where he wanted Morwenna to meet these men. One of which is a Reverend.

Drake likes Morwenna and he kissed her a couple of chapters ago. Also Ross and Demelza now know from Sam about Drake’s whereabouts. Aka Truro.

George wants Morwenna married off to a widower who has money or a young lad who has like a title and money. Elizabeth doesn’t like it because Morwenna is entitled to happiness. She is also 18 years old and governess to Elizabeth and Francis’ child.
