i understand rick’s perspective. i do. TRULY. but that still doesn’t give him the right to be an asshole about the whole thing (charlie being rich) not when she made it so clear on how much it was suffocating her and how much she wanted to work hard to be someone other than what she grew up with,

Charlie is me (i am not wealthy tho) but if someone shows basic decency to me i’d feel like i owe them and get them back with gifts or smth anyway

This is starting of so nice! I love seeing a over thirty year old find her way in life (even though I am 22, but sometimes all the 16 to 20 year olds living their perfect life in a book can be a little overwhelming)
