It's very lotr meets eragon meets got.

Just read the first two chapters and I'm not really happy with the book. The pacing is just wrong, it begins with the lad deciding he needs to find out who his family are so needs to go on a journey. He expects his aunty to talk him out of it but she basically says"go on then" and the next second he's been walking for days and then conveniently happens upon someone to show him the way to go...

So far I like the story as it's unfolding, I'm reading it with my girlfriend and she is enjoying it too.

Only one glaring typo so far. Quick paced read.

So far... The story is already one that I'm interested in and what to continue to read to find out what happens. The characters are all really well thought out and are described well, makes you instantly like or hate them. The only downside to the book and it is small is that the writing is a little bad, in some places its a little hard to read cause its laid out weirdly. Apart from that i really am enjoying it.
