Status Updates From Prophets of the Dark Side (...

This series of books is like having someone read a summary of the movies, smoke crack, and then write a first draft and turn it in. The plotline feels scattered and not thought out. No character growth, a bunch of dumb coincidences, and shitty filler in already small books. I can’t imagine even children would like this. Possibly the worst series of books in SW history, behind the Dark Nest trilogy.

The computer randomly getting shot also felt rushed. Triclops escaping serves what exactly? What a horrible way to die, stuck underground. Feels like they’ll be a problem later (probably not because these books are ignored for being so bad). Han and Leia’s big day is like 2 pages and we don’t even see it happen. Obviously gets interrupted because it happens later in the timeline.

Trioculus’ death was lame. The Omniprobe was also dumb. Smart idea to plant false info. Zorba feels like an afterthought. The mushroom expedition and the spiders were just dumb. Hissa being melted in lava was metal. Ken’s parentage and relation to Palpatine is so funny to compare to Rey. The Alliance capture the Prophets in literal sentences. What the fuck? That could have been a whole book.
