i related so much to how arisa thinks, like yes ppl r diff but if u keep complaining what u don’t have and not rly do anything to get what u want how r u gnna improve. but then also there’s a problem w privilege etc where ppl have better education opportunities. idk i just realized how u see other ppl is like a reflection of how u lived ur life and its inevitable to think one way of living is not as good than urs

i feel like every book of hers revolving around daughter & mother is the same? bc the last one i read lit had the same theme and so im bored. to explain one of the theme is the complex relationship between mom& daughter, where the daughter unconsciously choose to do sth (esp her love life) based on what their mom wants
