I sometimes wonder how people let themselves go so much, like the base addicts described, but I realize that the human mind is quite weak and vulnerable.

I realized that no matter where you are, things will work out (or not) almost certainly a combination of BOTH luck and skill. Richardo essentially saved Thomas's live due to a mutual connection in speaking English. I possess that other people can find common grounds with me?

Good progression from Rusty, and then reads very well from Thomas's first POV so far.

Good book to start with since I haven't read anything all year so far.

Getting in the mood for Bolivia

It gets really dark, I just can’t stomach children getting brutally harmed so I am having trouble picking it up

Only read one chapter so far. My jaw is literally on the floor. Absolutely incredible introduction to the book. So well written. Can’t wait to finish it but can also tell I won’t want it to end
