Maybe if I document something new I learned in each chapter I’ll retain it better….
Ch. 11 taught me that patients with abnormal saccades may also have caloric results that mimic a bilateral weakness, because saccadic impairment can inhibit nystagmus fast phases and keep the eyes deviated to one side. The nystagmus may appear with presentation of fixation light since it redirects the eyes to center gaze!
