Status Updates From True Spirituality

Enjoying reading this through with Andrew. Goes along nicely with The Holy Spirit which I'm reading in tandem with a women's group at church. Love Schaeffer's way of making weighty truths easier to understand without compromising the meaning.

“Salvation is a single piece yet a flowing stream. I became a Christian once for all upon the basis of the finished work of Christ through faith; that is justification. The Christian life, sanctification, operates on the same basis, but moment- by- moment.”

We live, moment by moment, believing Christ’s finished work— not by our own strength. I’m thankful this head knowledge is seeping into my heart.

I don't know if "technical" is the right adjective for this book but it does read like a textbook for me. So I decided to keep the Bible handy to refer to.
