Notes:
(1) McFarlane must have been really into Canadian music.
- He references Avril Lavigne, Swollen Members and Nelly Furtado.
(2) Tony Twistelli's mentioned, so I guess that lawsuit had yet to be settled.
- The editors here apparently never read "Spawn" before.
(3) The last two issues are surprisingly normal.
- I think it's the absence of (indecipherable) action scenes.

Notes:
(1) Above is Medina's imitation of children's' art, which is ironically far superior than any of his actual grown-up art!
- The book would be infinitely better if Medina drew with the artistic competence of a child!
(2) These first three issues are just issue-long fights.
- Lots of filler: dream sequence, random flashbacks... essentially all my comic book pet peeves.

(1) Okay, I've got to blitz through these Spawn volumes. I usually like to take my time with comics, appreciate the art and mull over the story.
- But the art on this Angel Medina run sucks, and the less time I spend looking at it the better.
- As for the story, there hasn't been anything significant since issue #100. The series has been spinning its wheels big time.

Spawn has been dragged to hell since he has not claimed its thrown it has sparked a war against him and all the demons. Even tho Spawn has not claimed the thrown the power of hell belongs to him and only him so the demons attack him. Spawn used his army to bring an army of hellspawns to fight against the demons.

Spawn has returned to rat city. Cod told spawn that he is dying. Spawn told Cod that he plans to release hell onto earth and make it a paradise.
