I was surprised on how later on when people realized that Kevin was a good player but never got the chance to show his skill on the football field and no one would comment on what he does as “ Coach Crawford said nothing further to Kevin, and as far as Kevin knew nothing to anyone else”( Dygard 89). It showed that he starterd getting really well to the point coaches wouldn’t say a thing to him.

This book is different from other types of books because this is mainly focused on one player whose goal is to be the best while other books in someway revolve around many

In the book, It was ironic how both of the quarterbacks are friends who had #1 and #2 and both tried out for the same position. They acknowledge that the word is loaded:" [gripped] gives an intense feeling in the scene and makes everyone worried about what has happened" (Dygard 12). It explains"[the] players stood around looking at him, the people in the bleachers, a moment ago shouting but now were silent (Dygard 12)

"I like this book because it reminds me of myself. it reminds me of myself because when you practice it will show in the game. The Author Thomas Dygard writes, "Kevin pump-faked ... just as Kevin had done a hundred times in robs backyard" (Dygard 163)."

In the beginning, They weren't united as a team when Rob got hurt and Kevin stepped up. now that they are getting farther in the book they start to unite as a team and when they do that they start winning. they also start winning because Kevin and rob starts to have fun practicing in Rob's yard: "Maybe I could coach, too, someday. so I took you on to see if I would like it...Yeah I do like it" (Dygard 127).

it is keeping my attention because there is new twist and thing happening like Kevin going to Rob's House. i like the way he rights because he changes it up between characters and the characters reactions'. I like the characters because they will be doing something like playing for Kevin in varsity games then the players wanting to get rid of Kevin because they don't think that he is good.
