Somethings where interesting. Over all the recipes where good. Would have liked a conversion chart. There a list for coming up with a table spoon or a pound. I enjoyed reading how to keep lettuce and celery by wrapping it in cloth and placing it on the ice. Over all there where quick and simple things that my mother would throw together when we had unexpected comply.
