Status Updates From Face the Music: A Life Exposed

Researching the author was very easy as this is an autobiography. The author grew up in New York with a psycho sister and parents who hated him. He got into music at the age of 12 and since then had desperately tried to get a band together. His dream pulled off after getting Jean Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. They become very successful very quickly as a band with a lot of acting, and not a lot of music.

This book relates to my life, in very few ways, but I when I was young I felt tormented like this Paul Stanley. As he gets older I start seeing differences. For example he starts wanting to ditch school and hang out with friends, but I would never dare to do that. It's almost disappointing, what this character does. Also I feel like this guy is always lamenting and crying about prior affairs. I would never do that.

I have read 180 pages. So far what I have read is that the main character (narrator, and autobiographer) has been angry and has felt like the world has wronged him. He is stuck in New York with parents who absolutely hate him. His sister got a mental illness and almost killed him due to the hate of her parents. It's been terrible so far. I am excited to find out how this man pulls through.

So far in this autobiography, Paul Stanley the lead singer of the band kiss (I don't care for this band has explained all of his hard times. He had a morphed ear and really awful parents. Even though this early life seems agonizingly terrible I can't sympathize with Paul Stanley because he is such a cry baby. So far this book has left me with little enjoyment. I mean this guy is supposed to be a rockstar. It's poor.
